Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine delayed

Two anticipated titles from Ubisoft will unfortunately be delayed due to COVID-19 complications. Rainbow Six Quarantine, the tactical co-op FPS, and the sixth installment of the Far Cry series, Far Cry 6, have both been pushed back to a later release date.

According to Ubisoft’s earnings report, the cause for a delay in the two games is based on production challenges directly related to working from home due to the pandemic.

Far Cry 6 was originally set to release on February 18. Rainbow Six, on the other hand, did not have a set release schedule. Not much is known about the gameplay for Quarantine, and now even less can be expected to come out with this recent delay announcement.

While the developers have revealed that there is a delay in production, we don’t know the new dates when gamers can expect these two titles to come out. This is the latest in a large wave of games being delayed due to the pandemic. Now Ubisoft’s titles are suffering the same fate as Cyberpunk 2077 and Halo: Infinite.
